For the start of 2014, I want you to put my Ancient Magic | Modern Tools™ philosophy to work for you in a powerful way. This is a new version for a new year. Simply, I’m going to describe a technique for you that uses music to underscore and stimulate where you are in the world. You can read this prior versions here:
We begin with an outline of the 12 fundamental areas of your life:

Now, we’re going to add a theme song to each category.
HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN SOUNDTRACK TO ACHIEVE CONSISTENT SUCCESS
STEP ONE: The first mighty task to accomplish is selecting the perfect song for each one of these 12 categories. When I say perfect, I mean for where you are right now. Your selection can always change later on to suit how you continue to expand. To get you started and inspire you to create your own playlist, here are my 2014 suggestions for you.
1. Travel/Adventure

STEP TWO: Create a playlist of your 12 chosen songs. Listen to all 12 songs (either in the order of your choice or shuffled) in one sitting. This will take you on an emotional and fierce journey through the 12 categories.
(OPTIONAL) STEP THREE: Rather than simply sitting and listening to your 12 songs, take this technique to the next level by adding exercise or movement. You can easily complete at least a 2 − 3 mile walk while listening to this (depending on your health, of course – make sure you get your doctor’s approval if there are any concerns). Think of this as a magnificent walking meditation.
These steps will readily take you on a new adventure and recalibrate your brain to reach new heights. Enjoy the thrill ride!
